Christ Jesus my All, Christ my stand or fall; On His Rock I will stand. Christ my perfect God, The Truth who never lies; In His Word I stake my life. It involves the doctrine of effectual calling : These who are given must and shall come; however stoutly they may set themselves against it, yet they shall be brought out of darkness into God's marvelous light. It teaches us the indispensable necessity of faith , for even those who are given to Christ are not saved except they come to Jesus. Even they must come, for there is no other way...

We give God our shame,  He gives us HIS NAME; We give Jesus our pain, He gives us NEW LIFE! We give God our drama, He gives us HIS PEACE; We give Christ our grief, He gives us NEW LIFE! We give God our heart, He gives HIS PROMISE; We give Jesus our strife, He gives us NEW LIFE! We give God our fears, He gives us HIS GRACE; We give Christ our death, He gives us NEW LIFE! We were buried with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. #ESV
