This is how God showed His love among us:  He sent His one and only Son into the world  that we might live through Him. 1 JOHN 4:9 THE CROSS OF CHRIST He died for me On earthen tree A Man of sorrows Broken and bruised He died for you On that same tree The God of mercy Beloved, abused    He bled for me On heathen ground A Man of compassion Crucified, buried From that ground He rose for for all of us The God of forgiveness Holiness and love JEP This is love: not that we loved God, but that  He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning  sacrifice for our sins... 1 John 4:10 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. John 19:30 THE RESCUER On a cross In broad daylight The Rescuer gave Himself To open the Way To live today On a cross Some 2000 years ago Peace was put to death To fashion a Way To pray today On a cross Christ died for me Christ died for you To prepare a Way  To rise again On a cross Before time began Love was crucified To make a Way Today OUR RESCUE Know God,  love God,  Make HIM Lord of ALL,  Love Jesus,  worship Him,  Our rescue f rom the  Fall,  Adore God,  Worship the Lord.  Creator of the Universe,  Have the mind of Christ,  Know Our Father's Heart,  Comprehend Life,  Surrender to God's Son,  He is LORD of ALL. Amen & Amen!
