REJOICE AGAIN   A new day blesses my heart, My soul knows well God's endless love; Sunshine awakens another day, Filling my mind with new waves of strength.   A new day has dawned on me, My soul knows well God's effective mercy; Sunlight colors another day, Painting the earth in new shades of grace.   A new day touches my life, My soul knows well God's eternal joy; Sonlight washes over another night, Rejoice again, again I say rejoice!

Inspired by early morning and goaded on by the incredibly gifted writing of Philip Yancey .  Enjoy!  SUNDAY MORNING  Wanting to hear God's voice, Heart laid open before the Lord; Longing deep inside for more:  Contentment, peace and joy. Sunday mourning in the desert, Another day to know God's heart; Reaching out to comfort the broken, I meet the Maker of heaven and earth. Waiting to sense His presence, Head laid down on heathen ground; Straining to hear an uncommon sound, Holiness, encouragement  and  love . Sunday morning in the wilderness, An unblemished day to give God praise; Surrendered by faith to His sovereign grace, My lifelong search for love finally ends. J. E. P.
